First Date
After matching on Tinder, they planned to meet for their first date watching The Bachelor—but Jamie was swamped with school and completely forgot. She didn't remember until she got home while FaceTiming her mother. Jamie sent a message apologizing, explaining she was busy at school. Brian respectfully offered dinner by saying, "Not to infringe on your independence, but may I pay for dinner?" She said yes. They had dinner at Sushi Tomo, and after talking for three hours until the restaurant closed, they decided to continue by walking around Stanford campus—specifically Memorial Church. They spent the whole night talking and laughing until they both eventually fell asleep. The rest was history.

Saying "I Love You"
One night, Brian whispered "I love you" as he was drifting off to sleep—and then fell completely asleep, leaving Jamie stunned and wondering what comes next. Not exactly a movie moment, but perfectly us.

The Final Rose
Brian took Jamie to one of his favorite restaurants, Fleming's, and officially asked her to be his girlfriend—Bachelor-style, complete with "the final rose."

Moving In Together
With Brian starting his first full-time job and Jamie wrapping up her undergraduate studies, we took the leap and moved in together. A new chapter was beginning.

Summer
Our First Festival
Brian and Jamie attended their first music festival together at Outside Lands in San Francisco. This marked the beginning of an annual tradition that we still uphold to this day.

The Proposal
On October 17th, along the Seine River in Paris with the Eiffel Tower glowing in the background, Brian got down on one knee. Jamie said yes, and a dream became reality in the most magical city in the world.
